About Dr. Calvano
Dr. Calvano was born on January 6, 1967 on Long Island, NY. He received his B.S. in General Biology from the University of California, San Diego in 1995 and his D.M.D. from Temple University School of Dentistry in 1999.
Dr. Calvano began his career in the U.S. Navy where he completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry in July 2000 at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, SC. He then spent the next three years at 2nd Dental Battalion, 2nd FSSG, Camp Lejeune, NC. Dr. Calvano was deployed to the Mediterranean, Indian Ocean, and Afghanistan with the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
Dr. Calvano is a member of the American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association, Shenandoah Valley Dental Association, and Academy of General Dentistry
Dr. Calvano has over 500 continuing education credits in the Dental Arts, exceeding the minimum 15 continuing education credits that are required by the state of Virginia.
Dr. Calvano and his wife Sandra enjoy spending time with their two children.
About Dr. La Grua
Dr. La Grua was born on December 28, 1966 in Morristown, NJ. He received his B.A. in Business Administration from the McDaniel College (formerly Western Maryland College) in 1995. He received his science prerequisites from Rowan College (formerly Glassboro State in New Jersey) and his D.M.D. from Temple University School of Dentistry in 1999.
Dr. La Grua began his career in the U.S. Army where he completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency in July 2000 at Fort Jackson, South Carolina. He spent two years at Fort Bragg, NC, with 7 months deployed to Bosnia Herzegovina with the Stabilization Force in the former Yugoslovia.
Dr. La Grua is a member of the American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association, Shenandoah Valley Dental Association, and Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. La Grua has over 500 continuing education credits in the Dental Arts and surpasses the minimum 15 continuing education credits that are required by the state of Virginia.
Dr. La Grua and his wife Cathy enjoy spending time with their two children.
